Around here, shared dreams have a way of coming true.

The Community Foundation for Oceana County currently manages more than 170 funds. Each fund has the potential to make grants to multiple projects and programs each year. The Foundation also exercises community leadership. We are committed to be the partner that is pursuing the community’s greatest opportunities and addressing the most critical challenges. We strive to grow community assets to create the best outcomes for people. Our role can take many shapes – to lead, support, connect, convene, react or advocate.

In this section, you’ll learn about where we helped to initiate resident engagement to propel communities to a shared vision. We reacted and are still responding to a health and economic crisis. We are making investments in educating our youth, fostering equal opportunity for families to improve their livelihoods. And, we eagerly came alongside significant projects developed by another organization or business to foster positive economic development. The examples that follow are a few of our most successful initiatives.
